design intention

An home office curated with the means to create a sense of freshness, security, and calmness while concurrently generating more storage space.

The design resulted from the desire to open the space balancing the office with functional illumination. The desk situated in front of the window allows natural illumination to enter the space resulting for the client to feel less confined/ restricted.

In connection to maximising the space, the placement of the bespoke storage shelves and cabinets was to be considered as a important element of the design. Both the desk and shelving was designed with the intention to work as one.
