DESIGN INTENTION

The goal of the brief is to inspire a space created with organic intention. Stepping into a designed space draws one’s consciousness to the term “Ukiyo”, the state of being entirely present with oneself and the action at hand. With this initial concept, our client was open to building a Modern Japandi Interior that met the needs of functionality and sustainability needs.

Working within the outline of the brief the client specified to create a new configurement that comprised open internal spaces from a two-bedroom basement flat to a master bedroom with an en-suite, but confined kitchen area.
